When you give a donation to the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute's (BUEI) Annual Campaign, you become a vested partner in our mission: "To advance the understanding, appreciation and knowledge of the ocean and to encourage the protection and preservation of the marine environment.
BUEI's connection to the community provides the foundation that makes us successful as an informal learning facility. The generous contributions made by yourself, visitors, members, volunteers and staff of BUEI provide support necessary for the operations each year. Support in the past has been greatly appreciated, and has enabled BUEI to offer high-quality programmes that are exciting and educational.
When you give a donation to BUEI's Annual Campaign you are underwriting Education for all: Although BUEI is most commonly associated with exhibits and general adult programmes, BUEI has established an excellent reputation in specialized education programmes for a variety of youth audiences.
- 14,821 school children have participated in specially guided tours through the exhibits.
- 5,380 school children were taught specifically designed classes to meet their curricula.
- 1,201 children have participated in the After School Programme; a public service programme operated in support of and in collaboration with the Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs and the Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation.

The BUEI is registered in the US as a 501(c)3 organization for tax relief and is a registered Bermuda charity. Gifts of all denominations are welcomed at any time, and may include cash, securities and other gifts. Unrestricted contributions may be made in any amount and are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
